Studio Etiquette

At Delaware Center for Dance, the dance studio is our sacred place. A place to escape the outside world and nurture your creative fantasy. We take the art of dance seriously and it is our hope that our students do as well.

We dance from our hearts and everything we do will be done in love and good intention. We stand firmly on our anti-bully policy. We will not tolerate disrespect of our staff, students, parents, and any other dance establishments. Should there be any report of bullying, immediate release will occur. We fill our students up with love and support so that when they enter the world, they spread just that and represent our studio well.

Our staff goes through extensive training and we trust them to have the best interest of your students, we ask that the boundary between professional creative and parent be respected.

We teach our students professionalism and the importance of showing up prepared. We expect students to show up properly dressed for each and every class. We ask for respect of the instructor and fellow students, and encourage conversations be limited during class time.

We ask that students practice the value of time and if they are running late for class they first check in with the desk prior to entry.

No eating of any sort is allowed in the space and students are encouraged to bring water to replenish thirst.

Cell phones are to be left in dancers dressing room and not present during class time.
